Types
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks including pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different kinds differ in terms of the way they operate. For instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use inside warehouses and different other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are recommended. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are used to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
